Zusammenfassung

Jersey College is seeking a Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education across LPN/PN and RN programs. The role includes classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction with supervision of students in clinical settings to ensure safe, professional nursing practice.

The ideal candidate is a motivated RN with an MSN or higher, strong teaching abilities, and a commitment to student achievement, with opportunities to collaborate across faculty

Qualifikationen

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Experience teaching LPN/PN and RN students preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
• Implement appropriate evaluation methods to measure student learning, progress, and competency.
• Prepare accurate and timely student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance records.
• Provide students with appropriate guidance, feedback, and support to promote successful learning outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge and expertise within the nursing specialty and clinical practice environment.
• Attend faculty meetings, training sessions, and other required academic or campus meetings.
• Maintain professional qualifications through continuing education, in-service training, and academic coursework as appropriate.
• Collaborate effectively with faculty, administration, clinical partners, and other members of the academic community.
• Maintain professional standards and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director, Program Dean, or Campus Administration.
