Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students. The instructor creates a supportive learning environment, evaluates student performance, and guides learners in developing knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors essential for success.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN with an MSN or higher, an active RN license, and at least three years of clinical practice

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a nursing specialty that contributes to student learning.

Responsabilités

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
