Job summary

Hc, a nursing home in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our team. You will create and post schedules for the nursing department, track changes, and approve trades to ensure proper coverage.

You will maintain attendance records, coordinate with HR on call-outs and overtime, monitor daily PPD, and provide reports to the DON. Payroll experience and HR tasks in long-term care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have staffing coordinator experience in long term care.
• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED.
• Computer knowledge required.
• Experience in staffing, HR and payroll in long term care.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Create and post schedules for nursing department and approve trades.
• Track call-outs, lateness, and attendance; coordinate with HR daily.
• Monitor daily PPD.
• Monitor and minimize staff overtime.
• Coordinate with agency staff to cover open shifts as needed.
• Provide reports to the DON on staffing, vacancies or agency use.
