Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in health administration or related field.
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience in a hospital or long-term care facility.
• Current Nursing Home Administrator license or reciprocity per state.
• Independent decision-making ability.
• Tactful interaction with staff, residents, families and agencies.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and long-term/subacute care laws.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage programs within policy.

• Maintain policies and procedures governing facility operations.
• Assist in development and evaluation of staff performance.
• Interpret policies to employees, residents, families, visitors and agencies.
• Ensure compliance with policies among all people on campus.
• Direct services and programs at the facility.
• Represent the facility to outside agencies and third parties.
• Schedule and participate in meetings (Quality Improvement, Infection Control, etc.).
• Review surveys and prepare plans of correction when deficiencies are found.
• Maintain communication with residents, patients and families.
• Recruit and supervise department directors and staff.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets and cost controls.
• Review monthly financial statements and enforce fiscal discipline.
• Counsel and discipline staff as needed, ensuring fair treatment.
• Maintain relationships with medical professionals and health facilities.
