Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Mountain View, AR is seeking a classically trained Cook for a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare, portion, and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following recipes, ensure plating, and support the Dietary Manager during their absence.

This role requires sanitation, inventory management, and flexibility for special events, with full-time benefits including PTO and insurance. Availability to work every other weekend is required.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume operations.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
