Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students. The role includes classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical teaching across various sites, with emphasis on creating a supportive learning environment and evaluating student performance.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN with an MSN or higher, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student achievement.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and experiences.
• Experience teaching LPN/PN and/or RN students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence.
• Prepare accurate progress reports and maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
