Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students across campus programs. The instructor will teach in classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings, shaping student knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, an active RN license, and at least 3 years of RN practice with a passion for education.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences.
• Experience with teaching or prior nursing education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Prepare accurate and timely student progress and grade reports; maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate effectively with faculty, administration, clinical partners, and students.
