Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students. Depending on program and campus needs, instructors may deliver classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN with a passion for education, strong clinical knowledge, and excellent communication skills, committed to student achievement and success.

Qualificações

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses being taught.
• Experience contributing to student learning through clinical education.

Responsabilidades

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a supportive learning environment and evaluate student performance.
• Deliver instruction appropriate to students' educational level and needs.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and promote safe nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and competency based on program standards.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports and maintain attendance records.
