Job summary

Howard Community College is seeking an administrative support professional to back the Nurse Education Program. You will work under the Director of Nursing and support the division’s accreditation and data collection efforts.

The role requires strong data handling, document formatting, and coordination with multiple college departments. 25 hours per week, with a focus on schedule coordination and event support within the Nursing program.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience providing highly detailed administrative support in an office setting; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience in higher education and knowledge of Nursing programs a plus.
• Experience with Canvas and Ellucian Colleague a plus.
• High level proficiency in word processing and use of spreadsheet and database software.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Knowledge of standard office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination for registration of nursing cohorts.
• Assist with administrative tasks in Trajecsys clinical tracker site.
• Assist with word processing and formatting professional documents.
• Work with other College departments for the collection of data needed for reports and initiatives.
• Maintain course and clinical evaluation data and disseminate graduate surveys.
• Assist in collecting information for various forms required by the Registrar’s Office.
