Job summary

Howard Community College (HCC) is seeking an Allied Health & Nursing Program Manager to lead programmatic and operational initiatives within the Allied Health and Nursing Workforce Team. The role involves contract negotiation, grant monitoring, budgeting, and serving as the college liaison with external agencies to generate new enrollments and revenue.

Qualifications

• Allied Health or Nursing clinical and instructional experience preferred.
• Knowledge of COMAR compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree required plus three years of experience in healthcare or education.
• Experience with credentialing agencies and budgeting.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience with LMS (Canvas) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support programmatic and operational initiatives within Allied Health and Nursing Workforce Team.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor grants, develop budgets, and establish partnerships to generate enrollments and revenue.
• Evaluate faculty through classroom and online observations.
• Manage staff and student support operations to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
• Lead regulatory compliance and renewal processes for applicable programs.
• Collaborate with marketing and administrative teams to promote programs and streamline operations.
