Job summary

Howard Community College invites passionate nurse educators to join our team. The Full-time Nursing Faculty member teaches didactic, lab, and clinical courses to meet the 10-month schedule, typically 14-16 units per semester, with 5 office hours weekly, and a 37.5 hour workweek Monday–Friday.

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or higher and a current Maryland RN license, with recent medical-surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Maryland RN license.
• Recent medical-surgical clinical experience within 3 years.
• Master’s degree or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic, lab, and clinical courses to nursing students.
• Maintain at least 5 office hours per week and 14-16 units per semester.
• Participate in curriculum design, program outcomes, and assessments.
• Promote interprofessional practice and evidence-based teaching.
