Job summary

Chamberlain University is seeking an experienced nursing educator to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. You will teach across classroom, online, clinical, lab, and simulation environments, contributing to curriculum development and student success.

You will mentor students, evaluate performance, and engage in scholarship related to teaching and nursing practice while maintaining compliance with licensure and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a field related to the teaching discipline.
• Active, unencumbered licensure or certification to practice professionally in the discipline, as applicable to assignment.
• Education and experience that align with state, regulatory, and licensure requirements for assigned courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned nursing courses across classroom, online, clinical, lab, and simulation environments using engaging, evidence‑based methods.
• Contribute to curriculum development and implement approved course content and teaching materials.
• Build relationships with students and foster an inclusive learning environment that supports success.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback and remediation as needed.
• Lead or support clinical, lab, and simulation experiences, connecting theory to practice.
