Job summary

Chamberlain University in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced nursing educator to shape the next generation of healthcare providers across classroom, online, and clinical settings, including evening and weekend classes.

You will teach assigned nursing courses, evaluate students, mentor new faculty, and participate in committees and scholarly activities aligned with Chamberlain's mission. A Master\'s in Nursing and NC RN licensure are required; PhD preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required.
• Current, unencumbered NC RN licensure or eligibility.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing clinical experience.
• Excellent communication and initiative.
• Fluency with learning management systems and online teaching.
• Ability to work with AI in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned nursing courses (classroom, online, clinical, lab, simulation).
• Develop and implement course curricula and teaching materials.
• Evaluate student performance and provide remediation as needed.
• Lead clinical learning experiences and ensure practice-ready students.
• Engage in scholarly activities and professional service.
• Maintain current subject matter expertise and comply with policies.
