Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to educate and mentor LPN/PN and RN students across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings. The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher and an active RN license, with at least three years of recent nursing experience.

As part of our faculty, you will create a supportive learning environment, evaluate student performance, and guide learners toward professional practice and success in nursing.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Knowledge of nursing specialty to support student learning.

Responsabilités

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
