Job summary

Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Staff Development Coordinator to oversee educational programs, orientation, and competency development for facility staff. This role requires an active Massachusetts RN or LPN license and focuses on ensuring safe, high-quality resident-centered care while maintaining compliance.

You will collaborate with leadership to develop annual training plans, track training completion, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN or LPN nursing license required.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience.
• Two years of Staff Development Coordinator (SDC) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in annual facility assessment to determine staff knowledge and skills.
• Identify educational needs through needs assessment.
• Develop and implement annual training plan with leadership.
• Plan orientation programs for new personnel and refresher training.
• Maintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate continuing education for licensure and certifications.
