Select Specialty Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN night shifts (7p-7a) at the St. Louis North facility.

Compensation starts at $22/hour with a $1.50 night shift differential and a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing using basin-less methods, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with maneuvering patients in stretchers/wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; maintain stock levels of supplies.

Located inside of Christian Northeast Hospital

Schedule: PRN Night 7p-7a - PRN Requirement 4 shifts in a 6 week period

Compensation:$22/hour PRN Rate + $1.50 night shift diff

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
