Select Specialty Hospital in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for full-time day shifts (12 hours, 7-7). Compensation ranges $19–$23.17 per hour with a $1.50 differential for night shift and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

The facility offers extensive orientation, RN scholarship programs, tuition reimbursement, and a clinical ladder to advance skills. Responsibilities include patient bathing, hourly rounds, transport to treatment centers, equipment care, and maintaining clean rooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients with basin-less methods, including oral hygiene and care of hair.
• Take part in hourly rounds and assist transporters with patient movement as needed.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with moving patients on stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
• Keep patient rooms clean, organized, and stocked with supplies per unit needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
