Job summary

Chamberlain University is seeking an Associate Dean of Academic Affairs on its San Antonio campus. This campus-based leadership role drives day-to-day academic operations, supports faculty excellence, and ensures strong student outcomes in the BSN program in partnership with the Dean.

You will lead faculty performance, ensure curriculum quality, and use data‑driven insights to continually improve teaching and program success while maintaining accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
• 2+ years in nursing education at the bachelor’s level or higher (Required).
• 2+ years in simulation and/or clinical experience development/participation (Required).
• 2+ years of leadership experience (Required).
• Unencumbered professional nursing license (Required).

Responsibilities

• Execute academic strategy in partnership with the Dean to achieve BSN program goals.
• Actively support and implement curriculum changes and academic initiatives.
• Lead program expansion efforts and respond to evolving healthcare education needs.
• Align daily operations with Chamberlain’s vision and strategic priorities.
• Recruit, onboard, and supervise faculty to ensure program excellence.
• Directly manage faculty workload, performance, and scheduling.
• Oversee budget planning and resource allocation across the campus.
