Job summary

Avante Mt. Dora Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center seeks a caring LPN or RN for a Unit Manager role.

You will supervise daily nursing activities during your tour of duty, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines and maintaining the highest quality of care under the Director of Nursing. Qualifications

Must be a licensed nurse (LPN or RN) in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements.
Must be 18 years of age.
Completion of secondary education or ability to read/write.
Must speak and understand English.
Must be able to supervise and instruct others.
Previous supervisory experience or training.
Must maintain current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
Ensure the highest quality of care is maintained at all times under the guidance of the Director of Nursing.
