Job summary

Avantara Mountain View is seeking a dedicated LPN Unit Manager who will also serve as Staffing Coordinator, ensuring smooth operation of the unit and nursing department schedules. The role requires maintaining high care standards and coordinating staffing to meet resident needs.

Qualified candidates will hold an unencumbered SD LPN license with CPR certification and have two years of LPN experience; prior dept-management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered South Dakota LPN license, CPR certification, and two years of LPN experience.
• Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit is preferred; five years of LPN experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the assigned unit and nursing department staff schedules.
• Supervise clinical staff, provide guidance and education, and maintain infection prevention practices.
• Ensure adequate staffing and maintain a master schedule to cover open shifts.
