Job summary

Avardis Health in Wilora Lake Healthcare is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to lead our nursing team. You will mentor nurses and CNAs, oversee patient care, and ensure compliance with care standards while fostering a culture of compassionate, resident-centered service.

This on-site leadership role requires at least 3 years of nursing experience and a valid RN or LPN license, plus a minimum year in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in good standing.
• 3 years nursing experience (preferred in skilled nursing or long-term care).
• Minimum 1 year of nursing leadership or administrative experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise & support nursing staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
• Direct patient care & treatment planning; ensure adherence to care standards.
• Coordinate & manage staffing needs and participate in hiring.
• Monitor documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Address resident and family concerns and advocate for residents’ rights.
• Assist in staff development and preceptor training.
