Job summary

The Avante Group is seeking an RN/LPN Unit Manager to supervise daily nursing activities in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Florida. The role requires leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include overseeing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and collaborating with the Director of Nursing to maintain a safe, compassionate environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the applicable state.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care, or related facility.
• Knowledge of long-term care nursing practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the residents’ age-related needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Work with the Director of Nursing and staff to maintain high quality care.
