MU Health Care is seeking a Nurse Tech for the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO. This on-site, full-time Days role supports the Progressive Care Unit with patient-focused care and a collaborative team environment.

Base pay is $15.81–$24.92 per hour, with a $2.00/hour differential for evenings, nights, and weekends. Benefits include health/dental/vision, generous leave, retirement options, and tuition assistance.

Competenze

• Enrolled in a nursing program and will complete Fundamentals of Nursing within 90 days.
• CNA certification or exam registration.
• Proof of PCT certification.
• Direct patient care experience in last 3 years (MA/NA/EMT/Surgical Tech).
• Complete UAP training with 100 hours of patient care within 3 years or within 180 days.

Mansioni

• Assist nursing staff in transfers and meal delivery; support patient care.
• Organize workload, answer phones promptly, relay information to patients and families.
• Educate and train new Care Team Associates.
• Perform duties as delegated by nursing staff in routine or emergent situations.
• Assist with patient positioning, hygiene, vitals, glucose checks, venipuncture, and labs as needed.
• Enter data into bed-management system timely.
