MU Health Care at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. The position is on-site with 3x12-hour shifts (days) and rotation to weekends, offering a base pay range of $32.72–$48.27 per hour plus shift differentials.

You will assess patient status, develop and implement care plans, educate patients on medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care while supporting

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license in good standing.
• Compact multi-state license acceptable; must establish residency as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and nursing needs, set goals, and plan care.
• Assess and reassess pain, using standard scales.
• Educate patients about medications and side effects.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions.
• Maintain nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Participate in meetings and quality improvement activities.
• Document observations accurately and concisely.
• Provide quality care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• May perform unit-specific duties per department documents.
