Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or graduate from an approved LPN/RN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN or LPN license in Maryland.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience and leadership ability.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and quality assurance.
• Ability to plan, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff and programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing and supervise CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel.
• Enforce center policies and procedures; review and revise as needed.
• Provide discipline and evaluations for staff in accordance with regulations.
• Plan shifts, services, and activities with the team; ensure QA program
• Prepare reports and cooperate with surveys and inspections.
• Assist in discharge planning and coordinate with care teams.
