Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Center is seeking a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to supervise daily nursing activities and staff performance. You will guide CNAs/GNAs, monitor adherence to policies, and contribute to the center’s quality assurance program.

The role requires leadership, strong clinical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate care plans with other departments to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate from an approved LPN/RN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must demonstrate leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions of CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel.
• Supervise nursing personnel in accordance with rules and guidelines governing the Center.
• Review and revise policies, procedures, and job descriptions as needed.
• Provide discipline and evaluations for nursing staff.
• Plan shifts’ services, programs, and activities with staff.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and followed.
• Coordinate with other resident services to maintain total care.
• Participate in quality assurance and regulatory inspections.
• Assist in discharge planning and resident transition processes.
