Job summary

AtlasMD in Maryland is seeking a registered nurse supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee CNAs/GNAs. You will monitor performance, educate staff, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards to maintain high quality care.

Responsibilities include directing daily nursing operations, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining current nursing procedures manuals. Leadership, discipline, and performance evaluations are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate from an approved LPN/RN program.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and supervise nursing staff in accordance with laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel.
• Review policies, procedures, and job descriptions; recommend revisions.
• Provide discipline and evaluations for nursing staff per rules and guidelines.
• Plan shifts' services, programs, and activities with assigned personnel.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and adhered to.
• Coordinate with resident services to maintain total care regimen.
• Participate in quality assurance and center surveys/inspections.
• Assist in planning the nursing portion of discharge plans.
