Job summary

Atlas Healthcare, LLC seeks a Nursing Supervisor to deliver direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel. You will monitor performance, provide education, and ensure standards compliance.

You will plan shifts, coordinate care, and participate in quality assurance within the Center. A current RN/LPN license and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or completion of an approved LPN/RN program.
• Current, unencumbered, active RN or LPN license in this state.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and guidelines for nursing care facilities.
• Leadership and supervisory ability; able to supervise other personnel.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs and procedures.
• Willing to adopt new nursing methods and principles.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, staff, and agencies.
• Patience, tact, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of CNAs/GNAs or other nursing personnel.
• Supervise, discipline, and evaluate staff per rules and guidelines.
• Plan shifts’ services, programs, and activities with staff.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and followed.
• Coordinate with resident services and other departments for total care.
• Prepare reports and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.
• Assist in discharge planning and updating discharge plans.
• Complete medical forms, reports, and charting as needed.
• Participate in surveys/inspections by government agencies.
