Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in New Jersey.
• Ability to provide education and counseling to staff.
• Ability to discipline per regulations.
• Knowledge of nursing care facility laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel.
• Provide discipline and evaluations for nursing staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and center surveys.
• Plan shifts' services and activities.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current.
