Job summary

Avir Trilogy is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in the assigned unit. The role requires adherence to federal, state, and local standards, and alignment with facility policies and procedures as directed by the Director of Nursing.

The incumbent will ensure resident rights are upheld, participate in care planning, and supervise staff to maintain quality care and a safe, sanitary environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.
• Valid State license to practice nursing.
• IV certification preferred.
• Must be able to write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the assigned unit.
• Ensure nursing services follow policies and procedures and meet quality standards.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing personnel and report to the Director of Nursing.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and respect residents' rights.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and infection control in the unit.
