Job summary

Avir Trilogy seeks a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead care teams and uphold resident well-being in our Texas facility. You will supervise nurse aides, administer medications, implement care plans, perform treatments, transcribe orders, and document care to ensure compliance with policies and physician orders.

RN or LVN in good standing is required; strong communication, emergency responsiveness, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN license in good standing.
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to organize workflows.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans per policies, guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments to support resident health.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately transcribe physician orders in a timely manner.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain accurate nursing notes and assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Communicate care details across shifts.
• Educate Support Staff: Train staff on nursing policies and care needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Ensure infection control and safe body mechanics.
• Address Staffing Needs: Coordinate replacements during shortages.
