Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.
• Valid State license to practice nursing.
• I.V. certification preferred.
• Must be able to write and speak English clearly.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities of the unit.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local standards and facility policies.
• Maintain resident rights and confidentiality; document care plans and reports.
• Assist in care planning, admissions, transfers and discharges as needed.
