Job summary

Avir at Groveton is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct resident care and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the assigned unit. You will ensure compliance with applicable laws and facility policies under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

You will maintain residents' rights, support care plans, and mentor nursing staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.
• Valid State license to practice nursing.
• IV certification preferred.
• Must be able to write and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local standards and facility policies.
• Maintain residents' rights and ensure privacy and dignity.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
