Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a licensed registered nurse to lead the nursing team in a long-term care facility. You will supervise nursing assistants, ensure high-quality resident care, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

The role includes admitting, transferring and discharging residents, administering medications, and coordinating with other departments to create a warm, safe, and respectful environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current unencumbered state RN license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions of the nursing assistants and plan shifts.
• Complete and file admission, transfer and discharge records; transcribe physician orders.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain rapport with inter-department staff to ensure quality nursing services.
• Provide IV care, dressing changes and other professional services as required.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident care information and privacy of care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
