The supervisor will allocate staff per shift, coordinate patient care, monitor rounds, respond to emergencies, and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• Supervisory experience in a team-leader role.
• CPR certification.
• Experience as a professional nurse.

Responsibilities

• Determine optimal staff allocation per shift on each unit.
• Coordinate care of patients on assigned shift and communicate concerns.
• Perform rounds to monitor conditions of acutely ill patients.
• Provide clinical expertise in medical and psychiatric emergencies.
• Assist with policy development and attend QA/Performance Improvement meetings.
