Aperion Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring high-quality care in compliance with regulations. The RN will plan and oversee daily nursing activities, administer medications, complete documentation, and maintain patient confidentiality in a warm, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license in Illinois.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Be able to perform all functions under your active license as it pertains to your assigned duties.
• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their care plans and physician orders.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, and other departments to ensure nursing services meet residents' needs.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living and meal service.
• Appropriately communicate with clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Know how to care for residents with dementia.
• Be willing to take on other duties within your knowledge and experience.
