Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking an Assistant Administrator to support the Administrator in directing day-to-day facility operations in a Skilled Nursing/Long-term Care setting. The role emphasizes adherence to federal and local standards to ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include policy implementation, safety and risk management, staff development, and coordination with department leaders to improve services and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a Supervisor role, healthcare experience preferred.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decision when circumstances warrant such action
• Must be able to read and interpret financial records, reports etc.
• Must be able to communicate policies, procedures, regulations, reports etc., to personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily facility operations in line with standards and guidelines.
• Assist in development and implementation of policies and procedures and professional standards of practice.
• Ensure all staff, residents, visitors follow facility policies and procedures.
• Lead meetings to discuss survey findings and corrective action plans.
• Review facility safety, infection control, and resident rights compliance.
• Review financial statements and report to the governing board.
• Coordinate in-service training and staff development.
