Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical teams in delivering patient-centered rehabilitation care. You will guide care programs, supervise staff, and collaborate with administrators to ensure high standards and smooth operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, timely performance feedback, and commitment to compassionate, evidence-based practice within a growing national inpatient rehabilitation network.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BSN preferred for nursing leadership roles.
• ACLS and CRRN certifications to be obtained within 1 year of starting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor and manage staff; conduct performance appraisals and counseling.
• Provide direct patient care when needed and build relationships to support recovery.

• Bachelor'sDegreeinNursingorrelatedfieldpreferred.
• Twoyearsofrecentexperienceinaninpatienthospitalsetting(withinthelastfiveyears).
• Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results.
