Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical teams in patient rehabilitation across our Arizona facilities. You will oversee nursing care, implement care programs, and coordinate between administration, nursing management, and staff to ensure quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes hands-on patient care, staff development, and adherence to policies while fostering a compassionate, patient-centered environment that aligns with our values of empathy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in required state regulations.
• BSN or related nursing degree preferred.
• ACLS certification within one year of starting.
• CRRN certification within one year of meeting eligibility.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and administering performance counseling and discipline.
• Assume patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships with patients to understand needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
