Job summary

Encompass Health in Texas is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical teams within our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will ensure high-quality care, implement procedures, and guide staff through daily operations.

This role emphasizes mentorship, collaboration with administration, nursing management, and delivering compassionate, patient-focused care; benefits start on day one, with a comprehensive package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in good standing with state regulations.
• BSN certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Leadership experience such as charge nurse or lead capacity with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in developing and implementing personalized patient-care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Liaising between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervising nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts.
• Monitoring and managing staff with on-the-spot feedback and annual evaluations.
• Providing patient care as needed and building relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
