Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing teams in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will guide the development and execution of individualized patient care plans, ensuring high standards of care and adherence to policies.

Your role fosters collaboration between administrators, nursing leadership, and frontline staff to optimize outcomes. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a proven track record in a fast-paced rehab

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BSN degree with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and administering performance counseling and discipline.
• Assume patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.

Education

RN licensure per state regulations

BSN with ACLS certification within 1 year

• Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results.
