Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in Colorado to care for patients within the scope of training and board approvals. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include comprehensive histories, diagnoses, ordering studies, emergency stabilization, and patient education. Active PA/NP licensure, DEA, and board certification are required; prior ER/UC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA board certification is required.
• 1 year of ER or urgent care provider experience is preferred.
• Active and current PA or NP licensure in the practice state, plus DEA and controlled substance credentials.

Responsibilities

• Take complete health histories, review records, and develop medical assessments.
• Order labs and imaging appropriate for the patient condition.
• Institute emergency measures and provide stabilization when needed.
• Interpret data to guide patient status and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on health care and prevention.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
