Job summary

American Family Care Castle Rock is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Castle Rock clinic and SE Aurora Clinic teams.

The role requires ER/UC experience, board certification, and a current PA/NP license with DEA and state CS certificate. Applicants should be comfortable with 12-hour shifts, weekends and major holidays; DOT certification is preferred; full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Board certification by ANCC/AANP/NCCPA (ER/UC experience preferred)
• Active and current PA or NP license in the practice state
• DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate
• DOT certification preferred
• At least 1 year of Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine experience
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, weekends and major holidays
• Full-time, Part-time, and PRN opportunities available

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive health histories and review records to develop medical assessments
• Formulate diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals as appropriate
• Provide emergency measures and stabilization in critical situations
• Interpret data to determine patient status and management
• Educate patients and families on care and wellness
• Perform other duties as assigned
