Job summary

American Family Care Castle Rock is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver urgent care across Castle Rock and SE Aurora clinics. The role requires PA or NP licensure, board certification, DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate, with a preference for ER/UC experience.

You will perform histories, exams, and treat acute conditions, supporting efficient patient flow and high quality care.

Qualifications

• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA board certification is required.
• Active PA/NP licensure with DEA and state-controlled substance certificate.
• One year ER/UC experience preferred.
• DOT Certification required; ability to certify within 8 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete health histories and order labs or imaging as needed.
• Develop medical assessments and refer to appropriate facilities.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilization when needed.
• Interpret data to guide patient management and treatment.
• Educate patients and families on health care and prevention.
• Work across Castle Rock and SE Aurora clinics.
