Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is recruiting a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to support urgent care operations in Colorado. You will work with a team to deliver efficient care, conduct thorough histories, and order appropriate diagnostics while ensuring patient satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have active PA/NP licensure, DEA and state-controlled substance certification, and ER/UC experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Active PA or NP licensure with DEA and state CS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive health histories and perform exams.
• Develop medical/ nursing diagnoses and coordinate referrals.
• Initiate emergency measures as needed and stabilize patients.
• Interpret data to determine status and plan treatment.
• Educate patients and families on care and health promotion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
