Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients within the scope of training and approved agreement. You will work with other providers to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction.

Position involves on-site clinics across AFC locations. The role requires ANCC/AANP/NCCPA board certification, active PA/NP licensure, DEA, and at least 1 year ER/UC experience.

Qualifications

• Board-certified PA or NP with active state license and DEA registration.
• 1 year ER/UC experience or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Excellent communication with staff, patients and families.
• Professional appearance and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Take complete patient histories and order appropriate tests.
• Formulate diagnoses and arrange referrals as needed.
• Initiate emergency measures when required.
• Interpret data to guide patient management and treatment.
• Educate patients and families on health care and prevention.
• Other duties as assigned.
