Job summary
Abode Care Partners is seeking a compassionate, autonomous Nurse Practitioner to join our Midlothian, VA team. A $10,000 Sign On Bonus is offered, with performance incentives to boost annual compensation.
Responsibilities include managing patient care across chronic and urgent conditions, ordering tests, coordinating with healthcare teams, and maintaining up-to-date medical records. Overseeing in-home visits, you will deliver high-quality care in patients' homes.
Qualifications
- Active state NP license and eligibility to practice in Virginia.
- MSN required for Nurse Practitioners; PA may not require a master's.
- Current CPR and active DEA licensure.
- Two+ years NP/PA experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage daily workflow and time effectively.
Responsibilities
- Performs evidence-based medical care by planning, directing, and evaluating patient medical needs.
- Examines and treats chronic and urgent illnesses, minor injuries, and other conditions.
- Orders and interprets lab and diagnostic tests as needed.
- Collaborates with caregivers and healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
- Provides referrals to other practitioners when necessary.
- Maintains accurate patient medical records.
