Job summary

The role emphasizes collaboration with interprofessional teams, leadership of SL NPDOLs, and data-driven improvement of nursing education and practice.2+ years in education and leadership are expected.

Qualifications

RN license in Illinois is required.
Experience in nursing education/professional development: 2+ years.
Leadership/supervisory experience: 2+ years.
Willing to pursue MSN within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

Supervises and directs SL NPDOLs and delegates work assignments.
Reviews NPD requests and conducts gap analyses for education, systems, and performance issues.
Collaborates with central nursing education staff on onboarding, role development, and competency assessments.
Fosters a culture of interprofessional collaboration and governance.
Develops quality improvement processes with CNS to promote patient outcomes.
Collects and analyzes program outcomes including staff satisfaction, retention, competencies and patient outcomes.
Partners with leaders to support survey readiness and regulatory preparedness.
Assists director in budgeting for the department.
Develops and maintains Lean Daily Management board metrics.
Annual department policy reviews and updates.
