Job summary

Blessing Health System in Illinois seeks a Nursing Professional Development leader to supervise the Nursing Professional Development staff, ensure schedules, policies, and regulatory standards are met, and act as an advocate for the organization. The role requires an RN, BSN, excellent communication, and at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity, with a Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• RN School of Nursing graduate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• RN with relevant experience in nursing practice.
• BSN.
• A minimum 3 years experience in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Masters Degree (preferred).
• Maintain current BLS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of Nursing Professional Development staff.
• Ensure schedules, policies, procedures and regulatory standards are followed.
• Participate in selection, scheduling, supervision and performance evaluations.
• Handle disciplinary actions and conflict resolution as needed.
• Adhere to ICARE standards and Blessing Health System policies.
