Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson – Spine and Pain is seeking a Nurse Navigator to lead and coordinate patient care, ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality services. This role involves pre‑op education, daily inpatient rounding, discharge planning, and collaboration with bedside nurses to optimize LOS and utilization.

Candidates should be a Graduate from an approved nursing program with an active RN license, 2–3 years of experience, BLS, and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from approved nursing program.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• 2-3 years of nursing experience.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide pre-op education and daily rounding.
• Assist with discharge planning and LOS/utilization management.
• Collaborate with bedside nurses to ensure quality, safe care.

Education

Graduate from approved school of nursing

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
